I see what you mean, but these people are the worst ones and need it the most. Does that mean because i don't own a motorbike, I could just borow a mates and ride it on the road without getting a motorbike license.

Both times it appeared that the driver "forgot" they had a trailer.

A loony with 3 motorbikes on a trailer being towed by an ancient commodore was convinced, I am sure, that the trailer had IRS and didn't seem to notice it bouncing around crossing the centre line several times.

So the question.....

Should there be a "trailer endorsement" or category on a driver's license required before a driver can tow a trailer and if so how should it be brought in?

good point there . a little driver education and licenced endorsement wouldnt go astray.

have this problem allllll the time near my suburb (Tapping)...
People (mainly tradies as my suburb is newly developed) will cross into the middle island trying to get across but forget they have a trailer, thus blocking one whole lane off forcing drivers to either change lanes or stop completely (80 km zone some of them).. sometimes they are just arrogant and do it to ******** people off
