Hi, try and request their contact details.

To request a person’s contact information:
1. Click the Advanced Search link at the top of most eBay pages.
2. Under the Members section, click the “Find contact information” link and provide the user ID of the member and the item number of the transaction you have in common.

This gives you the sellers address, phone number ect.
hope this helps.

ebay wont give me his details as i brought it off ebay (as in not on ebay,)
another $80 gone ,thats over $400 in rip offs this year alone, the other 2 were on ebay but Paypal would not help due to sellers having no funds in there Paypal account.they put a stop on there accounts to refund buyer but wont use there own money.so unless the seller tops up Paypal to cover your refund you are left unpaid,
this time ive taken a risk and been stung.

buy somthing else off him through ebay
then in the checkout page choose to send him a money order
ebay will then give you his address to send it
then go get your coil and tell him to stick the other thing you bought through ebay
then leave feedback

I send items all over Australia,WA and TAS are the worst and slowest.ive recieved 3 bad ebay feedbacks from WA buyers due to Aust Post taking up to 14 days, and 2 from Tas for same reason,
If rusty knows where he lives i dont think heavies are required as the shock of local turning up on doorstep politely asking for it will scare th bejesus out of him, these people rely on been hundreds or thousands of kms away from person they are ripping,Funny thing is before i paid for item he gave me his address for pick-up, but i accidently deleted that email

For sure, being a seller on ebay myself it doesn't really make sense, sellers can get stooged too.
Now paypal are making me verify my account, my I.D, address etc, which I can't do because I'm 16 and you are meant to be 18 to be on Paypal so I have to idea what to do

If you are paying with direct deposit, then you are leaving yourself vulnerable.

I cannot recommend PayPal highly enough. Yes, they seller has to pay fees, but as the buyer, you get complete security in that if the seller doesn't come to the party, you get your money back.
Direct Deposit, you are completely vulnerable. This has been advertised on Ebay for a couple of years now.

I've been on Ebay since 2002, but I know that by paying through PayPal, the seller also knows that they basically cannot crap in my pocket and walk away.

Paypal is not that safe, all the seller has to do is remove the funds from his account and paypal cant retrieve them, Paypal shut down his account and they just open a new one
