Default 15,000km service -door problem

Hey guys, had my 15,000kms service today... and luckily yesterday i noticed my drivers door was rubbing on my drivers side rear door, and had at least a 2-3mm bigger gap at drivers door and front quarter panel as to other side of car.

paint has been scratched off (about half way from bottom of window to bottom of door approx 100mm long), i dont hang off my door or do anything damaging to it but it seem the door is 'slanting' (down and backward) quite a bit, ford didnt say wat it could of been caused by or is the result of, but photos have been taken and is under examination to be covered under warranty. they offered me a paint pen for $22 but i should of recieved one on purchase!

Just wondering if any of your cars have done this, (loose door hinge/bracket) or heard of this happening to anyone, and ford's reaction to such a unique problem.

Thanks in advance
Jaysen.

Mine isn't that extreme, but the drivers door does not line up correctly. Older cars had adjustable door hinges, and also MUCH heavier hinges. I'm amazed by the flimsyness of the Focus hinges, the doors aren't light! So I'm not sure how they'd fix it under warranty, beware that they might remove the door, beat the hinge with a hammer, and put the door back on. It will most likely settle right back where it came from, so demand photographic proof of how they repair it.
