Yeah yeah, I know I don't need to pay it, but the mail out alone would have cost em 50c haaa.

I wonder... say I paid a bill 1c short, do you think I will get an overdue notice for that 1c??

typical of telstra accounts dept.

you should pay it off with 1c monthly deposits .

telstra sucks.

I can beat that.

I cancelled my account with Three, with a $0 balance.

They then sent me an invoice for $2 as I hadn't signed up for eBilling on an account that didn't exist. So I received a bill for $2 for the paper they charged me to send me the bill.

Try get your head around that. Bastards charged my credit card and I cbf holding the line for 1 hour to get it reversed, they did stop the billing though.

automatically sent it. Its a legal requirement that if an account has anything owing on it they have to send a bill.

Used to us right off when i worked in billing for the big T

not necessarily - if you are with optus but call a 1902 number that is listed with telstra, the bill will come from telstra with just the call charge
the line rental will come with the optus bill

Haaaaa.

Ok, my last bill was $8.50, so, like all bills I paid it on the credit card. Their stystem cannot add the .69% fee at the time of the transaction (yet heaps of other systems I Have used can it seems) and that 7c was the extra .69% credit card fee.

Next bill i'll leave a cent off, just to see what happens lol.

Better than a $2,500 bill for a domestic household.

My brother would call mobiles and talk for hours everyday.

He has no appreciation of costs. To him, things are free because he doesn't pay for them.

When he started work several years ago, he actually said, "I'm going to save up a thousand dollars, and buy myself a house."

i have a $0.02 bill from telscum, funny thing is that they took 7 months to install a phone line in our estate (in deer park, melb!) so we demanded 7 months free line rental, and the phone line is 100% used for internet only. So the next bill will come 3 months after our lease has ended and we've moved on. Suck on that accounts dept!! muwahahaaha
