We had a TC corty with 250xflow 4speed and LSD, was a rather quick little beast. Just dont expect it to turn corners.

Centura 265 would be a rocket as well

LC torry 4 door 192 6cyl ;)

MustangNicko, thats not a silly idea..

But I'd like something that I can alternate with the Fairmont as a daily driver - eg mod one whilst I drive the other.

Had a close look at some Celica's lately, either an TA22 Hatch (mini-mustang style) or a 1984 2.4L EFI RA40.

i've seen a few V8 lexus transplants in both of those type of celicas on lextreme.com .....expensive but fun
