hey guys
was wondering if anybody knows the easiest way to fix the age ol problem of the aircon water dripping on the passenger side of the trans tunnel? i tried vacuming and getting out all the leaves in the core etc(behind the glovebox) but i cant find where the pipe comes out outside the car etc to poke a wire thru it?? any help would be great thanks

in the engine bay passenger side firewall about 3/4 the way down is a water outlet for the a/c condensation, it get blocked, give it a clean out and should fix the problem.

i had mine dripping on the drivers side... but i think thats coz everything was freezing up.. then suddenly thawing.... as the air con didn't cool the air.. and cycled out after not being on for long.... just had my accumulator and i think the tx valve replaced.. and thats fixed my air con.. and no drips... probably unrelated to your problem tho.. heh

Mine a/c also drips onto the passenger side mat, but only on humid days!!
If you are going to try to put something up the tube to unblock it don't use a solid piece of wire as you can easily damage the core. A plastic cable tie is not too bad but don't push it too hard. |
