I’ve only had my 2000 AUII 75year Anniversary for 6 weeks. Two weeks age I drove from Melbourne via the Rutherglen area and on to Canberra. Cruise set at 110 most of the way NO BS 784 K's and only took 58 litre when I re filled it. That was with 2 adults, 2 children and a boot full of clothes. One very happy camper

That's some great economy there guys! I haven't quite got as good as you, Tacnal, but have been very impressed by my AU3 Forte since I got it 2 years ago.
Just did a trip up to Northern NSW... made it from Melbourne to Dubbo on a tank (875km), took 70 litres. The whole trip was 3600km, and I only had to fill up 5 times, it's great! : Best ever was 7.4 litres/100 km (878km and 65 litres) - that was Easter last year, up in the Mallee (not too many hills to upset the economy!) |

Yeah, they're normally pretty good like that on the freeway. With a drag co-efficient of a bullet you'd certainly hope so anyhow.

I once got 7.5L/100kms (thats 900+ on the DTE) driving home to Melbourne from Merimbula (Sth coast NSW).
Cruise set at 110kms. Very happy indeed.
