Youd pay somewhere around the asking price if you had your heart set on an EL Ghia (looks like its in pretty good nick) But in a market flooded with AU's-BA's that's alot of dough for a car '3 generations back'

There was an AU Ghia V8 for sale on here a while ago with very minor damage in the rear (rear apron) it ha a 220 or 200kw engine with loads of exrtas - I think the bloke only wanted about $5500 for that. Makes the EL look a little pricey.

Not if you dislike the look of AU's, alot of people have/do buy EL's as they just dont like the shape.

Its just a tag price, guaranteed it would drop for a serious buyer. I sold mine for $6200 and it has 220,000 k's and no rwc.

And I agree, EL Ghia interior is as nice, if not nicer, than a BA (cant stand the plastic on the back of the front seats).

I miss my EL Ghia if you cant tell..LOL :togo:

I just bought a champagne coloured AU on 17's with the same amount of Km's for 6k.

I bought my EF XR8 a couple of years ago for 7k with 92000 on the clock. I wouldn't say its a bargain but It looks to be clean and low Kay.

For it to be a bargain to me it would need to be under 2k.

Yeah I agree, without a kit and as an I6, particularly in green, it'd about standard price for the kms.

Nice buy. I got a 03 phantom xr6 manual at auction with 32k on the clock 16 months ago for 20 grand. I would have loved leather, premium and sun though.
