If they let us spectators carry on like they used instead of banning everything: beach balls, mexican wave, lots of beer more beer then maybe they would get the spectators back. They are killing the game by enforcing these new rules the atmosphere is gone in a one dayer and tests because of this reason. 20/20 to me is like when you go out at the end of an innings and have a smash and it doesn't matter if you get out or not. Sometimes you stay in, others you go out. 20/20 is just a smash game and an insult to cricket.

Good ol' India
Was great seeing the healthy rivalry between the two teams this morning. Nothing better than seeing a mouthy Symonds/Hayden shown the way to the dressing rooms. Bring on Pakistan! |

how good was the final. i'm not the biggest fan of t20 cricket but that game last night had everything. i didn't get home from work until the 2nd innings so didn't see india bat but when i saw they only made 157 i thought pakistan had it in the bag.
well done to india and great captaincy by ms dhoni. right down to the final few balls it was still either teams game and with misbah at the crease needing 6 off 3 balls it looked like pakistan were going to get there in the end but his shot selection just didn't work. best game of cricket in the tournament played by the 2 standout teams of the tournament. |

I didnt see the final but I was thoroughly disapointed by the game we lost to India. Only Hayden, Symonds and Gilchrist really contributed, and got us into a position to win, but our middle order sucked!! Hussey, Clarke and Haddin were pretty useless. They were doin air swings left right and centre, while at the same point the Indians had been hitting sixes. Its was pretty exciting to watch but.

Test cricket FTW!
20-20 is exciting and fast paced, but I respect the tradition of Test Cricket and the skill required to play your balls selectively rather than swing a meat cleaver at everything.
