Hey guys,
Anyone here know much about modern Ford date stamps/codes? I know these sorts of codes were used on older Falcons but I have no idea what they used on E-series Falcons. I have some wheels here, all the same part numbers but there is a series of numbers and letters after the wheel size/type info (i.e. 6.0JISOx15) - it looks to be a manufacturing date or something. I've got a few codes here, and from what I can tell about what Falcons they came off, the final digit would make sense as a year number: 20 J 5 10 F 7 (two of these, I think they came off the same car, would make sense) 19 K 4 If anyone knows what these codes mean (they may mean the characteristics of the rim but I'm not sure) I think it'd be good to create a guide and would be willing to help ![]() Cheers, Hunter

Ok I think I have confirmed this is a date code - my EL's compliance plate says built in Sep 06 - my spare wheel has the code 11J6 printed on the inside - J being the 10th letter and if you take A as January (like with other Ford date stamps) then it would mean that the wheel was manufactured on 11th day of October 1996 which is about the time the car was made.
Anyone feel free to tell me if I'm wrong ![]()
