Default splitfire tune kits?

has anyone fitted a splitfire tune kit to there falcon http://www.lynxcorp.com.au/shopping/...3&Value=334.07 ive heard that they are a good thing and im thinking of getting one....there is a video about it hear its on a commodore but youl get the idea...

Wow ... I guess it looks good in the packaging ... and that's how they get your money.
They give you 8 leads and plugs for a 6 too ... hmmmmmm.
Now wonder it costs more ... hee hee.

Decent panel filters can be had for around $80
Even Iridiums from Ford will be around the $120 mark (maximum price you will have to pay ... can be had cheaper elsewhere)
Leads ... well ... depends on the brand and pricing ... the lower the resisitance the better.

I run QLD Ignition Leads - Spiral Core (9mm I think) ... and they were $80 for the set.

Thats not all that bad...

I bought topshelf splitfire leads and champion sparkplugs for my car.. $240 for the leads and $135 for the plugs..
Also $130 for a KnN panel filter, but thats gone and ive got a pod now.

yeah apparently the kits are very good, i have a dvd here where they put the kit on Xh 6cycl ute and it gainned 8rwkw on back to back dyno runs. not bad, im spewing the other day i seen the kit for a Au 6 at autobarn clearance for $80 but i didnt think to buy it, so i went back but it was gone.

Well a few years back i attended the hot4's testing day for plug & lead kits and spitfire actually came in worst score with almost 13rwkw off other leading irridum and platinum set's (this test was done on a gtr twin turbo) !! IMO youd be better off with bosch or champion plugs and leads
By the way the CHAMPION irridum WON with bosch platinum coming in a close 2nd behind nikkon platinum plugs!!!
