Hi there
I have an 86 XF Falcon and Im going to put an AU vct motor in it with a manual gear box and i was wondering if any1 could help me out and give me some tips on how hard its going to be putting it in. engine mounts wiring loom etc etc would be much appreciated thanks. |

possible yes easy no you will need a series one ECU as it has smart lock which you can get a bypass unit for. smartshield in S2/3 can't be bypassed. you'll then need to canabilise an AU one loom to get the bits you need including tranny wiring as you will need to use a BTR tranny or the ECU will go into LHM and will have no power. you'll need to also adapt a BTR shifter and linkages. like I said doable but not easy
