Mmm, I like the new Zetec front end better. Not sure about those wheels however.
Finally you can get a Ghia Hatch!!!

All Focus promo photos seem to feature lowered suspension.

Some maybe, but most is in the UK!!!

Anyway, the car is assembled in South Africa. That'll be why the 2.0L Auto Focus i had as a loan car when my XR5 was being serviced had finger wide gaps in the doors and bumpers....absolutely shocking build quality.
Has anybody else got this issue with their vehicle? Finger size gaps between the doors and bumpers? or am i the only guy with a pretty good built car with no fingers size gaps?

This is something you can do at home! It's called "sandbags".

An old car photographers trick, of putting sandbags in the car to make it sit lower.

Not totally deceptive. Put a driver and four passengers in the car and you get the same effect.

Nope, ours is pretty good as well. The paint finish from factory however was a bit average, but after a good dose of paint protection it's now like glass. She hasn't been a perfect little car however but that's another topic.

I'm actually looking at the moment to update my wifes car, she liked the LS Focus GHIA until found out only crappy cream leather - down right shocking. Now looking at the Fairmont GHIA's instead.

The last time my car was hitting the bump stops was when you were in the passenger seat... strangely enough the only place I heard a noise from was the whining of sea sickness from the passenger seat... :evil3:

The real highlight would be the 2.2 TDCi which may make an appearance in the Mondeo.... 136Kw and 456nm! Thats the old Mondeo engine from the ST Diesel Not sure if it is making a re-appearance in the new one..

On a side note, that site lists the Prospective Diesel (2.7l TDV6) for the Territory & comes up +28Kw (168) and +88nm (528!!!)

Yeah the 2.2 diesel in the Corolla which we may see here one day has 130kw/400Nm and thats up to 156kw/480Nm with a chip. I also think it would be nice for the Territory to have the 2.7TDV6, 3.6TDV8, or the 4.4TDV8 or an option of all 3

I should add, that 2.2 in the mondeo, is the diesel-power modified numbers, not the stock....

That Corolla would be a monster with that engine in there.........! Have Toyota in Europe lost the plot? a Diesel Sportivo?

Too bad the LS never came with curtain airbags and DSC, the car looks nicer with side door mouldings and the original Zetec alloys. The sedan also looks better lowered without a bodykit in my opinion which is why I will stick with my LS Ghia with Zetec alloys. And also because Ford are giving me $20,000 to trade it in for a new one, and it's only 12 months old with 16,000km. Hah!

i really don't like those rims much!

Turbo Diesel should be interesting to see in action, hopefully it doesn't sound like a tractor.
