Anyone know how to put the white ones in a 2002 focus? I don't want to **** with the dial alignment and have had the white dials for about 2 years just sitting there now lol.

Jono26, the back lighting is what determines the different colours between the 2 cars. The regular range has green LEDs, the XR5 has white LEDs. The actual lettering on the face of the dials is white hence the colour shines through. Click the link in my signature, i changed everything to blue.
The LR is different, it has 12v regular incandescent bulbs, and the face of the dials has the colour filter embedded in it. Hence needing a different guage facia to change colour, which will need to involve removing the needles (so does changing LEDs). Calibrating the guage is easy in the Focus, get into the diagnostics mode and scroll to the tacho and the speed to calibrate both. |
