My EF has just clocked up 220,000 k's. As it hit this figure a little spanner was illuminated next to the digital display.
Is this a service reminder or something else?

yes its a service reminder.
its a bullcrap reminder that cant be gotten rid of without the huge tester computer thing as far as i know. so for people like me who service their own cars we just note down KM in a log book and foreget the little light. any pro joint should have the computer to erase the warning light brad

Yeah man I've seen the computer. I had to sign a confidentiality agreement and stuff. It was huge though, it was really massive.
The lights flicker and stuff when they hook it up to get rid of the spanner. Sundeep |

Ok, I think we all know how to reset the spanner now. If you do it right too, you don't lose the current reading on the trip meter.
