Oh, and I wouldn't be too forthcoming WRT describing all your engine mods. Basic 351 with carby and extractors.

yeah i wouldnt mention any mods at all, there's no way of telling that they're going to bother with. if anything say its running a cam and thats why its so punchy.
i had a 'disagreement' with my inspector who was convinced my engine was a windsor (which it left the factory with) and should have engine number in a certain spot. i said no sorry buddy its a d block cleveland-no number on it, after ten minutes of searching he grumpily admitted there wasnt one to be seen,if i recall he wrote the casting dates as the engine number.
remember most of these guys like cars, they're not the cops with an attitude that gave you the sticker

Yeah, I just listed big ticket obvious items like racing seats, fuel cell, twin system and generic "suspension mods" which gives me leeway to talk the talk ;)

Mine goes it to storage tomorrow morning! It's not too street friendly now :
