I didnt know this, sorry if its common knowledge but interesting pub talk if you didnt.

The Valiant was originally to have been named after that two-seater, but Ford grabbed the name just as it was about to go into production." Brings up the thought: what would the falcon have been called if chrysler grabed the name first?

The front end makes me think 300C. Tidy looking car, it probably would have been pretty successful had it gone into production.

Actually ill give another useless fact the Ford Falcon was nearly never called that it was originally intended in the US to be called the Edsel Falcon, but seeing the disaster the Edesl was they called it the Ford Falcon and Mercury Comet (Frontenac in Canada).
