did aussie rs2000's have bonnet pins? i've seen several pics with them on, and some without. just looking for clarification.

never heard of bonnet pins being an option. just gives the car that hardcore racer look for cheap. that and i think most auto race events (motorkhanas, gymkhanas) and such require bonnet pins before they let you on the course.

Not a factory option - but they are a great way of ruining a nice RS bonnet!!!

no never had them from factory.Ive got them on my car and is the only thing I shouldnt have done.

I think about pins for piece of mind when highway driving and seeing tho corners of the bonnet vibrating up and down.

mine stays reasonably still, even at speeds around the 160k mark... ;)
