Default Engine codes

Hey all...

Just trying to find out the engine codes for the I6 engines, but im stumped on one..

JGSWYA = Normal I6 (Futura, Forte, etc...)
JGSWWM = XR6, XR8?... etc...
JGSW2M = BA Oct 2002 onwards Normal I6...

But I need some info on engine model = JGWY2P (model code 18234)

I doubt it... this engine is in an AU series 3 futura.... any more ideas?

mate what is it youre trying to find out though? Is that number the SIDO code?

None of what you have posted has anything to do with the engine fitted to the vehicle.
6FP= Manufacturers prefix (6FP Ford Aust)
AAA= Not used
J= Product source code (Country of origin)
G= Assembly plant (G = Broadmeadows)
WY= Body style
2= Year of production
P= Month of production.
