Unhappy Dusty AU

Greetings AU-bretheren.

There probably only one thing that ****es me off more than the girlfriend leaving Finger prints on my paint after i wax it, and footprints on the dash when she breaks the rules and puts her feet up, and that is - the light layer of dust/dirt that is magnefied to my fairmont after i wash and wax it. Is there anyway to reduce/prevent this? I wash and wax her (the car) every weekend and i shits me everytime. Can i use a terry towel, or a micofibre cloth during the week to 'dust' it or will it scratch the paint?

I should really be spending more time and effort into replacing the warped rear rotors, but i just cant handle it anymore.

Any suggestions?

James

I have a micro-fibre cloth/glove and use for the inside and out , works great. Just be sure that its only dust your trying to remove and not dirt buildup , there is no need to push hard onto the surface to be cleaned with the micro-fiblr cloth, push to hard and you can cause scratches from buildup of dust/dirt in the cloth if it isn't fully clean.
Full instructions are usually on the pack you buy it in anyway, descibing how to use it without scratching your paintwork ;) .
Other than that , i recomend them for quick toutchup dust removals inside and out.
cheers

Mr Shine on the paint after you wash & wax. It makes the dust run off, the same way water runs off after waxing.

Personally, I use & recommend the "dry cleaner", it's a wax impregnated mop/brush which will remove the dust without scratching the paint, been using mine for a few years & am happy with it, also, the handle is quite rigid, may I suggest this could also be used for whipping the said girlfriend around the buttock area. :
I think they're available from Repco.

:

You guys give people too much slack in your cars!! Anyone that gets in my car gets a speech by the time they get their seatbelt on. It normally reads along the lines of "Please respect my car. Dont even think about damaging it, putting your feet or, wiping snot on the leather or anything............ I have slit throats over less........."

They usually behave after aforementioned speech :

I am over protective of my car so nothing is touched unless the passangers asks first. Plus with the large area in a wagon you can carry a full size bed with ease. I wonder how many sedan and ute owners can do that. :P

Buddy i can't think of any reason why a girl in the front seat would have her feet up on the dash ?

The good news is Themboys have aslo experienced these strange happenings, and as a result have a new product about to hit the shelf.

Yes you guessed it Microfibre Socks, simply slip these onto the feet of you good lady and the polishing action should come naturally with little to no training required.
