Default 3.45 Lsd

My diff in my AU S1 is an 3.08 diff and it is an auto. if i put 3.45 diff in will the gears be much different. can someone tell me when 1st 2nd and 3rd rev out. i know the 3.08 diff 1st gear revs out at like 85, 2nd 145 and 3rd i hit the speed limiter. And also what revs will i be doing at around 110kmh in a 3.45 diff

According to mathamatics you should be around 75.88 in 1st, 129.44 in 2nd. and your car will be revving 10.72464% more at 110km/h for instance if it was doing 2000 revs at 110 before it will do 2214.4928 revs with the new diff. Simply put your current revs at 110 into the calculator and add 10.72464%. These are round about figures.

My 3.45 sits on 2350 at 110 but I have 18's on it.

bare in mind mate, I think the 3.08 diffs use a smaller housing, and you will need to use commodore gearing... I think you can only change your diff gears if you had the 3.23, 3.27 or 3.45...

Interesting theory.

If you are after a bit more punch off the line, just up the stally to a 2500 or so hi-stall. Of course that and 3.45 will see it really boogie, but I'd do the hi-stall first.

i think his going to change the whole diff rather then just the gears for the lsd

i got a auto with a 3.45 lsd, 1st revvs out at about 65, 2nd 110,

You need to rev it harder or your speedo is well out. This is still to low a maximum speed in gear with a 3.45 diff

these speeds were with econ button on so it only revved till about 5000, if i go to 5500 it will add about 5-10km/h to each gear if that
