Alarm/Locking

First, yay for me, I got my green p's Test was way easy but Im not complaining lol.

But when I went to lock my car at blacktown rta with the keypad, it wouldnt lock. It just cycled through locking/unlocking with 3 horn chirps or so, and I had to sit there doing this test knowing my car is unlocked, in a high crime rate suburb. :
It does this everynow and then too. Is there a quick fix or Im I best of getting a whole new system with alarm?? :

Methinks one of your actuators is on the way out or already died.

What he said... sounds like a faulty actuator.

this thread sounds familiar. read through "keypad help" thread, u will get the ideas and where to get the actuator, and aprox price on it. best to pull ur door cards and sit inside the car and check all actuators work properly as u lock and unlock ur car. if it happens again, ur car will still lock manually by key.

With the key it locks the drivers side, but not the passenger side?? Ill have a look at that thread, thanks...

Sounds like your drivers door latch mechanism is sticking and not allowing the door to lock.
