Hi All,
I think I already know the answer to this question, but does anyone know for sure whether E series (in this case EL) wagon rear door glass fits into AU wagon rear doors? I only ask because I've actually got a couple of tinted windows from an EL wagon and I'm hoping that by a stroke of luck they might fit! (I know the fronts don't as I just lined it up and the curves are all wrong! Thanks in advance! Justin. |

AFAIK door shape is different ... along with the window curvature.
Or do you mean tailgate window??? That doesn't fit either ... different shape.

No, just the rear door glass for a wagon (and only the main part, not the quarter window). I'm assuming that they won't fit, but it would be a bonus if they did as I've got the tinted EL glass lying around! |

It wont fit.
Why dont you get the whole car tinted. At least then the tint would match on all windows. I think the cheapest you can get a wagon tinted is $300. Its a bit more expensive than a sedan because of the extra glass.

I thought if the glass I've got fits, I could at least throw it in and at least the kids would have it a bit better in the back for summer! Time to get me some lame window shades I think! |
