Default Question about AU I Futura sound

hey guys.. i recently got myself an AU Futura about 2 weeks ago now..

i've got the prestige audio head unit.. but no stacker.. .i was wondering what stacker i can hook up to this unit? i've got a kenwood stacker at home and wondered if i can use it or not.. or do i have to get the ford factory unit? if so.. anyone got a cable and ford factory disc stacker they wanna offload?

Thanks

Isn't the AU prestige unit a 6 disc unit anyway?

The speakers in AUs are cheap pioneers, so i would assume that perhaps only a pioneer stacker would work with the head nit - not 100% sure though.

Your best bet would be to pull out the stock head unit, and go for either an MP3 unit, or a Giga MP3 (DVD) unit. No stacker ever required, and these days they do a remote unit that allows you to retain the functions of the steering wheels audio buttons (though at the cost of around $200 - I prefer to reach out with my left hand)

yeah.. the prestige is a 6 disc stacker.. but the actually stacker isn't there.. but the head unit has the stacker controls etc...

i might try calling ford see if i can hook up my stacker... if i have to spend lots of money i'd prefer to just upgrade the head unit instead...

Thanks for your feedback..
