Default Tail light wiring

Quick question peeps...

Is there a difference in tail light wiring between AU sedans, utes and wagons?

Doesn't matter what series.

EDIT - I know about utes in that the reverse light is located in the rear bar... I'm more wondering about if sedan/wagon tail light wiring would wire up OK on a ute.

Your not putting AU sedan taillights on the axe are you Kenny? That would be something very different, lol....

Remove you taillight. Find the reverse light bulb and holder ( clear, single element bulb with 2 contqcts on the buttom..or just take noote of where you unscrew it from :P)
Then just cut off your reverse light plug with a 3 inch tail... solder or crimp some extra wire to the loom end, run it to the bumper then rejoin the bulb holder (if the rear bar one is the same size bulb as the taillight of course)

If the rear bar takes a smaller bulb just get a new bulb holder from ford

So, if I took out the reverse light wire from the rear bar, and joined it up with the reverse light from a sedan loom, it would still function OK?
