I chose 427 cobra jet but anything worked with 8 cylinders gives me a bar!

KING of ALL V8's you ask.

Where is the option for MRJUCY's proposal?? The DFV F1 Ford V8 that won more races in the '70's & '80"s than ANY other engine ever has, or ever will for that matter (evolutions were still used til 1991, but the same un-altered configuration in the middle of it's life holds the above record).

Surely you cannot argue with all time record success in the pinacle of motorsport.

Another Vote for the Ford Cosworth DFV (It only cost Ford £100,000 to get their name on the winningest set of cam covers ever!)

Another vote for the DF series...

Second would be pretty equal between the BOSS429 and the 427 Cammer.

There's an extreme lack of votes for the 427 SOHC engine.

Guys do a google on the history of the thing and be converted.

351 all the way doesnt matter that a 426 is bigger. It`s the fact that almost everyone EVEN MY MUM knows what a 351 is. They are 'THE V8!'

427 SOHC for sure!
If I remember, it was banned for use in NASCAR because it was too radical, yet the Hemi stayed. That tells you something.

Yes spot on. Was devised to beat the Hemi but was never allowed to be used. Mopar had a sook to the board. Wasnt even used in production but snapped up by the drag fraternity and knocked everyones socks off back then.

I picked 428 CJ but I know I would be happy with any V8.
