Default Got the car now so what mods are next?

So now that we have our cars, are we leaving them standard or are we going to mod them?

I think the front of my wifes fiesta looks great but a little dark, Im thinking some colour codeing and touch of chrome to accent it a bit.

Oh and then there is the performance side. Supercharger/Turbo maybe NOS?
119,XXX liters of NOS is each bank and there are 3 so I think there is 360XXX L of NOS ready to strap to the a$$ of the fiesta!

Haha! I'm leaving mine stock apart from a few little external features.

A) The Fiesta 17 inch alloys in a few months or so.
B) The grille insert from the Chineese Fiesta (has chrome-look inserts).
C) The rear skirt exhaust pipe from the Chineese Fiesta (the exhaust is visible).

Apart from that the windows get tinted next week. Nothing too drastic, but just some finishing touches!

Who was your salesman. Looks like Jye Munro in the drivers seat in the last pic. We bought the Mondeo from him.

Yeah bloody Jye. top bloke but he was too slow to tell me about the blue evo9 he traded! I would of taken the keys off him right away :(

Im thinking mechanical will stay standard because I have 2 coons to play with (well maybe a K&N filter WOW) but Id like to add some cosmetic touches.

Rapidtyphoon do you have pics of the things your planning?

Jye traded it on a turbo terrotry. Apparently this bloke needed a "family" car.

I reckon he was soft, I would of kept the EVO.

Be interesting to see how some little changes can transform a car

Here are the upgrades I'm looking at. Nothing drastic, but the Fiesta is so good-looking that it really doesn't need these things anyway, but hell I want mine to stand out!

The chrome-look bits on the grille with the honeycombe style behind, along with the exhaust showing in the second picture will look horn on my white Fiesta. Any other takers, might be able to get a discount if I buy in bulk? LOL.

Do you think a swap over engine would be possible?! lol

Maybe the XR4 Fez 2.0L or the XR5 2.5L Turbo?

From all accounts you have to upgrade the gearbox and diff if you want to turbo it. Well thats what every mechanic has told me when i've done some asking around

The moment a perforamnce upgrade is available in Australia for WS Fiesta, I'll be sure to look into it for mine :

Already mentally prepared the wifey that I'm heading straight for it particularly if there's a supercharger kit or turbo kit for it. Ooh can't wait. LOL

I think the Fez needs too show its tail pipes, Like the one on the mono tune car, But I don't want that buzzing noise.

My engine will remain stock for the time being.

will plan to get some bike roof racks for the car, and late in 2010 will replace the wheels with 18" spoke chrome rims - ever if I find one that is suitable....
