Hello,
My partner's Fiesta Sport with the infamous 1.0L Ecoboost engine is due for a timing belt change. A Ford dealer quoted $2140 and I'm really not keen on going down that path. Anyone know a reliable independent mechanic in Sydney who can do it for cheaper? Hope it's not too frivolous to post here but it's a little niche given how unusual the engine is. Thanks. What kilometres has that car done?
In answer to your question a friend has a Ford Mondeo Powershift TDCi He had the timing belt and tensioner replaced at the recommended interval He just checked autoguru And got it done for under $850 Car has done another 25000 since - it’s fine. |
