Default MB Mondeo Wiper Arm Crooked?

Gday all my front drivers side wiper arm is extending beyond the windscreen and rubbing on the pillar. I noticed that the arm is a little bent, compared to the passenger side. This could be normal, then again it may not. Anyone have any ideas as to how to get the arm to not go beyond the glass? I tried looking at moving the arm by the bolt but thats not the problem, in fact it won't adjust any further to my advantage.
Any help would be great, hoping I don't need to buy a new arm.
Cheers.

Sounds like possibly the arm may just need "resetting" on the splines of the actual spindle maybe?...if th windscreen has been replaced, the arm may have been put on a couple of notches too high? Is its resting position too high?

Thank you. No new windscreen, but yes it seems to be resetting too high - wonder where that can be adjusted?

This may help:

Thinking just need to take the arm off the spline and re-set the parking position. Hopefully its as simple as that.

Thank you very much will follow that up, but it looks like the fix required.
