Exclamation Talking Boonie Going Mad

Has anyone else's talking Boonie gone mad lately?

Last night I was sleeping peacefully, then without warning at about 4am Talking Boonie (who sits on near my bed) says something along the lines of:

"ANYONE GOT SOME NACHOS? I LIKE NACHOS!"

Scared the absolute BEJEEZUZ out of me!

I thought someone was in my room. He hasn't shut up all day either, but it's the first time he has said anything since the last one day match in Jan/Feb..? He said stuff at night last Saturday night aswell! I don't know what is going on!

Whats the deal! :

Haha. I can't wait for the movie.

Anyone seen the episode of the Simpsons where the Krusty doll goes mad and hunts Homer? Someone has got to put a Boonie version into production.

This was on 3aw on Monday (about everyones Boonies going off) And they spoke to Carlton & United about whether it was a planned publicity stunt. Their spokesperson said NO, it was probably the battery dying like a smoke detector does!...
Yeah right... Like ALL on the same day?
I saw a movie once about a murderous doll coming to life & chopping people up.. What if??... (Oh forget it)

I'm never selling mine. Collectors item. I read in the age yesterday that some guy in england has had to put his in the wardrobe becuase he has become a little to talkitive. It has been a great promotion for VB. Not looking forward to the batteries go flat.

Does anyone know how they actually work?

Is it tuned into a particular radio frequency or something along those lines? Mine seems to have shutup for a while now.

That's what we were told, but it didn't seem to matter whether he was near a TV or not.

I did a computer network in one factory and they had like a dozen Boonies and they all went off at some stage during the day (don't ask me how they ended up with a dozen, they just did) and the owner of the place collected them all, placed them under one of his 10 ton presses and SQUISH, no more annoying Boonies going off whenever they felt like it.
