If I put a set of 18 inch rims on my XR6 that has the standard 16 inch rims will it look like a tractor?
I ask because I wont be able to afford superlows for a few months. It should sit the same height shouldn't it if the overall diameter of the wheel\tyre is the same? |

mate i reckon your better of just waiting for the super lows for the next few months and put the rims on with the super lows all at once, you also have the advantage that both the superlows and the 18" rims you want price will drop a little aswell

If you know your current and new tyre sizes, you can work out your diameters here:- http://www.tyremaster.com.au/fitment_tips/diam_calc.htm edit: actually, the car sits 10.5mm lower |

The bigger the Rim , the lower the profile tyre, to keep the rolling distance the same on the wheel as specified. Tyres with the same rolling distance roughly are gonna be the same height no matter what profile the tyre is. (bigger the rim , lower the profile tyre... etc) . Cheers. eg.
