As some might of noticed i had my car colour coded.

And i put the fiesta chromish badges back on the car (which i had taken off the day i took delivery of the car!)

I Put them on the boot handle bit, tell me what you guys think. Yay Or Nay

Once again small pic from my phone

Yeah I'd have to agree, sort of hard to tell and I'd want a full photo of the back of the car.

Its just different, doesnt do anything for me, doesnt make me cringe, but will reserve total comment for a full photo.

Sorry Mitch...it's a Nay from me.

But you do what you like, that's the whole point of modding.

But...............the way the type is spread, it reminds me of the old "Kelvinator" badges right across the door of a 1950's fridge

Hahaha, i dont want it there, Mitch Does. It looks good.... but i wouldnt put mine there.... just because the Zetec badge would then be out of place. :

i think it looks good

stuff it if it reminds people of the corolla

what it adds is a highlight to what became a very plain rear end after you colour coded it

I am saying YAY YAY YAY because

a) I was the one who said for mitch to do it as i was planning on doing it when i got the strip painted
b) It shows creativity and thinking outside the square.

I believe you do what you want to make you happy and i am happy with it. It should only be done if the boot is completely de badged (Which I will have to do as i have 3 zetec badges on the car now and that just not cricket.)

Default Yay or Nay

Thanks for everyones responses.

The back of the car was completely debadged before and to be honest i was getting a little sick of people saying ''thats one of those festivas isnt it''.Bloody hell, even people from my ford dealership were saying that.

So i put them back on the car, trying a different place to put them.
They arnt stuck on too heavily at all, so they are easy to remove if i dont like them in a week or two. To be honest im a bit iffy about it still. it might grow on me, it might not.
I also finally put a euroford sticker on the back window

Main reasons for going for Zetec:

I didnt like LX interior: Solved
I wanted safety: Solved - ABS with EBD
Cosmetics: Has Fogs... makes the front look much better IMO

OH, not to mention the colour is only available on a Zetec.

abs is for girls who dont know how to drive ;)

i find abs more intrusive than useful

in saying that, i'll still never buy a pov pack car, no matter how little extra gains you get from a higher spec model

Saw an AU Falcon last night with F A L C O N across the tail just like the way you've put F I E S T A.

So there is some factory/family precedent for what you are doing Mitch

Yep, all AU2's and 3's have it like that except for T-Series. Our Fairmont has it in chrome - it looks quite good actually.

Thats another option - you could chrome the strip then have the FIESTA letters sort of engraved into it like the Fairmonts had.

yeah never had abs never had to worry about it.

i guess in an extreeme situation it could help. i would hate the feeling of comming into a corner hot hard on the brakes but then some of the brakes not working the right way and throwing the car off balance.

ive only locked my car up once through the hills when the inside wheel hit some oil but lift the brakes a little then re apply and was fine.

all about how you drive.

i couldnt justify spending another $6k for fog lights and little patterns on the seats and abs.
colour wasnt an issue cause i got black

either or. i think de badged cars look much better

nah with the 16" alloys (so theres a waste of the zetec rims already)
then all the air con and etxtrs etc instead of about $19k

i was going to be paying $24k something
