Default new 04 fiesta zetec owner

hi there, picked up my used fiesta zetec just the other day.
it's a great little car.

i was disappointed to find 2 paint chips that i didn't notice earlier when i purchased it. where can i find the most matching touch up paint and what's the best way to repair it?

Any Ford dealership should stock touch up paint in the correct colour. It's something I've had to keep in mind becuse I doubt Supercheap will stock Sub-Lime!

What can you tell us about your new toy?

Welcome to the forums mate. As Leigh just said, your best bet is to go get the appropriate matching paint for your car!

So tell us more about the car, any pics?

thanks for the welcome. it's pretty much stock at the moment. would like to add stripes on it :p

stupid thing is dealer didn't give me the code for the audio.
when i rang up them the next day, sales dept wouldn't talk to me anymore.
then the service dept said i had to bring the car in, prove i was the owner blah blah.. b
i said "but i just bought the car from you guys yesterday", the woman said they weren't obliged to give me the pin code if the first owner didn't give it to them!
anyhow, getting it serviced somewhere else next week and hopefully decoded...

PS: steven, i don't think it's your car i bought... log book owner's first name starts with d.

YES! I saw it on the road the other day being driven by the new owner. Now, considering he has just bought it... and it is an 04 model in Aquarius... put two and two together.

Tell us all what your car has...

"Is that you?!" :sm_drool:

This may sound like a stupid question, but do you get your side stripes from your Ford dealer or elsewhere?

As for touch-up paint, you can get little bottles at Autobarn, or have the correct shade mixed at Olarenshaw's.

you can get the side stripes from this company in the uk, here is the link:
http://www.fordpartsuk.com/Merchant2...gory_Code=GTFL
but yer, there are a wide variety of different places that you can get them made up, probably cost you bout 40 - 60 but you can get decent ones, plus there are alot of other things that you can do to your car thatll make it look more sportier with those stripes.
