Default Cyclaphosphamide??

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone here has ever been treated with cyclophosphamide (a drug used in chemotherapy), and if yes what side effects (if any) it may have had . My four year old Liam (the one with nephrotic syndrome) is about to start an 8 week course of the stuff along with his usual huge doses of prednisolone, and as much as the doctors tell you all the possible side effects, I was hoping to hear from someone first hand.

Cheers in advance
Bec

I worked in a Angiography lab as a theater tech for over two years here in WA, and the cases I've seen have all had good outcomes.

Is he having spheres injected, or getting a neph tube?

Apart from people being advised to keep clear of the patients immediately after the injections, I've not seen any major side effects that a doctor wouldn't normally discuss.

However, I'm no physician, so don't take my word as gospel. But you can feel pretty safe knowing modern chemo has come a long way in recent decades, and plenty of people have it done safely all the time.

No thankfully he does not have to have actual chemo, just take the 50mg tablets daily (still decent dose for his age and size), therefore hoping side efffects will be mild.
