Chris

I was told 10.03 as well but many of the Friday night slips didn't print out so I only count what I have a slip for.

Dave, be good to see the car at the Nats, the PD modulars always seem to shine up there so I'm sure you'll have some success.

Here is a few shots and timeslip of the XFT coyote/miami work ute taken at the Motorplex on friday. This is now the fastest stock blower coyote in the country! It has a pulley, intercooler and XFT built ZF with Nizpro billet input shaft. Congrats to XFT!

Hey Dan, might be best to remove "Stock" from infront of Harrop on Simons GS as there are a few others that are stock as well,

might be confusing for guys that don't know and they may think that the others have different blowers.

Nice time in a manual mate! Well done. However I think you need to take the N/A out of the description if your using NOS.

Have you taken much weight out of the ute?

Cheers Corey

Thumbs up Re: Modular/Coyote Falcon 10.99 and faster list

As per CAT600's request: Not a 10.6 ET, but here we have a time slip for 10.793 @ 129.793 (T104)!!! This vehicle is tuned by John at Intune Motorsport, Seven Hills (Sydney). This same vehicle has ran 133mph. This vehicle is running the factory HTV1900 supercharger, ZF transmission, billet oil pump gears, cams, factory heads with no headwork, has been built, and on an E85 tune it reeled off 547rwkw on the Intune Motorsport dyno. On this particular pass where it ran 10.7, the ZF transmission went into limp mode before the line, hence the lower than expected MPH for such a time. Word is that this vehicle would run a low ten bar for the ZF faults and there is talk that this vehicle may receive a manual transmission. I take my hat off to the owner and John at Intune Motorsport for achieving this. Respect to all the tuning shops that are achieving brilliant results like this one. This wasn't really my responsibility to post this as this isn't my car and I only spoke to the owner at the track as our cars are identical in appearance, but here it is anyway. To my knowledge, this is the fastest ET in Australia running the factory HTV1900, and it deserves to be known and respected. A nice piece of Ford community news :-)

Yep for sure, a lot of it is down to expense that not many are having a crack but hopefully Agro's Miami kit can bring it to the masses and we can get some more entries into the 9 and 10 second bracket

We'll just leave it to the bug guns to run the first 8

Menace, I see you're kicking butt on Wednesdays at Willowbank....

Do you find the track is as good on Wed as on Sat?

I went on a Wednesday and it was very slippery, but on a Saturday it was very good.

I have read elsewhere that they do a better track on Sat.

Do you find that's not the case?

Depends on whether the track is prepped or not. Say if there is a big race meet on the weekend you will find they might prep a lane for the big boys to test on which is what they did on the 2nd last time out. The track wasn't the best on Wednesday night otherwise it might have held the tyres on that big first launch where it lifted the front wheels.. But generally I think there usually isn't much difference between Wednesday and Saturday night.

Thanks mate!

I actually enjoy the Saturdays much more cause there's nothing better than watching a 9 second car drive past you like you're standing still - best seat in the house!

But you get as many runs as you want on Wednesday

Hope to see you out there one night. From the lane next you would be a great way to watch your ute!

For those of us on the out, and wanting to get in, can we get entries on the list, added (as it's updated) with dyno power/weight/tyre combo. Will help highlight what's required to run a time.

I'll add to that, lot's of RnD into the suspension (talking around $4-5k) without rear shocks, the trans & convertor $12K+, tailshaft $1.5k, Engine & blower $30k, 10rib pulley set up.... don't ask!, Fuel system I'm not sure at least $5k, Full Halech, sensors & wiring $15k, cage and shute $6.5k, custom exhaust, starter motor mod, trans mount and shock relocation $10k at mates rates and 100s of hours of my own time making things fit and work! I could probably do things cheaper knowing what I know now but I said the same thing when I started this build after having the ute in manual guise last time!

My advise to anyone wanting to run a 9/10sec pass in a late model FPV S/C Ford Sedan/Ute speak to CAT600 and Agro they will get you there without needless spending!!!
