If that's true I'd be surprised. I didn't think they were allowed to do that.

It's been there the past 2 days, will try and get a few with my camera phone. I couldnt believe it myself. Had the whole setup on the front of the car and everything.

I was wondering why I was getting head light flashes, kept my eye for the usual the station wagon or 4wd. Nope.. definatley a lookalike tradies work ute.

Eaxctly my point... this does happen.

On one occasion, I had a station wagon speed camera over take me on a one way road, flawed his car to get way ahead, pulled over and waited for me to pass him. After passing him, he took off back behind me!

They will play at any game to get anyone!

Sure it's just not a dumpy level or some kind of surveying equipment?

Highly doubt they could do this. And if they could, it wouldn't be an AU...

honestly.....who DOESN'T speed these days???? What do you do when you over take? To say "I never speed" is bullcrap.

I read some article in Cars Guide in the Herald that said every driver will sub-consciencely speed at least 7 times on a half an hour trip :P.

the cameras live in the passenger cabin and the darad unit generally stuck to the front. They are NOT put in the back of utes.
People are now doing things to take the p155 out of the paranoid types.

Nah, I think you have the right idea ZC. I've been driving for 14 years now and never had a speeding fine. Been through plenty of speed cameras as well.
As for speeding whilst overtaking, if it's a dual lane (or more) carriageway, then I won't speed. A single lane carriageway, then yes, I will speed to spend the least amount of time on the wrong side of the road, but that is only on country roads. If it's in suburbia, I'll whine and moan about how slow the person in front is, but I'll stay behind them until they get out of the way.

I can't believe the word used to describe a female dog is in the swear filter! Lucky we don't discuss dog breeding here...
