Default Sell whole or part?

Thinking of selling my car, raptor supercharged au1.
3.9's, lsd, car has 170,*** on the clock, 40,*** engine fitted under a year ago.
paint is looking a bit tired on the right rear 1/4, interior needs a minor tidy up.
is lowered on peddars super lows and shocks, all bushes and what not were replaced too. has 197rwks with room to grow, has been blue plated so is legal, in qld anyway.

What should I do, sell it as is and if so what would I be asking for? Or just part it out?

I guess it comes down to how much money you want out of it. I'd say you'll get more parting it out, but it's alot of effort, and results in alot of wasted time due to pennyless morons stringing you along.

To sell it whole, I wouldn't even know what to ask for. would $10k be too much for a quick sale?

What colour is it? Could be interested..

But seeing as it is blue plated, I'd try sell it, especially if you can sell with a RWC

Half the problems people have with selling boosted cars are that they are not legal, and buyers know they either have to do a "dodge" or spend $$$ to make it legal

To be honest, seeing as XR6t's are becoming so cheap, I think that may be a little much.

Seeing as it is mod plated though, I'd give it a crack at that price if you're not in a desperate hurry to sell.

If it was my car, and I was faced with the proposition of selling it around the 6k mark as mentioned above, I'd return it to stock, sell it as a stocker, and then sell off the raptor kit, rims, stereo etc etc.

IMO this would be the best way to go. Nowhere near as much effort as parting it out, and the dollar amount wouldn't be that far off.

It is silver, I'll get some pics up but as I said paint needs some attention, problem is it doesn't seem to show up in photos.
For a RWC, All it would need is the tint to be removed or replaced as it is bubbling, and a speedo corrector as I haven't done anything yet after changing diff gears.

Yeah, as all others have said, if you dont need the $$ quickly, part it out. You'd have a decent queue for some items I'd prolly be up for the 3.9's + LSD

Id like most of the s/c stuff at the right price. S/C, bracket, pulleys and belts and intake. Fuel reg, and fuel pump too if you wanted to part it all out.
