I think it was mentioned on another forum, so I joined up.

My knowledge on Fords, is because of the time I've spent here.

It started when I was a lil one with a yahoo websearch to find the latest ford empire news, that returned Blue Oval News. After a month I found the Aussie forum and lurked there.

I remember seeing a post by some lunatic on there that he needed "help" wanting to start a forum. Seeing as BON was dying I decided to move my lurking to ff.com.

Saw a hint on them forums so came over here. Been smiling ever since.

There was a thread put up by GTP xxx (I am pretty sure it was him, Picture with the nice lady as his avatar) on FF.com With the thread title as "I am outta here" Read the post and had a link to AFF.But back in those days it was only an IP address. Then we had the compition for the banner and it just grew.

I went and bought an AU and realised that I knew nothing about it,
cause I have always played with X series cars.
so I did a search, found this site and refused to leave. :

I got told the new site through the old site members.
Orignally found it searchnig through google, looking for info on X series V8's and XE/F S pacs as that's what I was looking at getting for a first car. Ended up with a 'modern' V8 and haven't left since.

Last year we had to buy a new car due to a write-off, i did a google search on the BA XR series and this site was on the top of list. I doubt I will turn away from the myriad of information and resources contained within WWW.FORDFORUMS.COM.AU which has been helpful in MORE ways than one.

I have been trying to work it out, but for the life of me, I can't actually remember! LOL!

It doesn't matter, I'm glad I'm here!

I've met some great people, learnt so much about my cars, saved heaps of money, but the mod bug has probably cost me far more!

Had some problems on my car and I posted a thread asking how to do the timing on an EL falcon on another forum (OCAU). Someone replied saying I would get more help here, so I came here and joined.
