Default Prelim final - AFL

Alright, my tips are St Kilda to win by 27 and Geelong to smack the pies into submission by 69 points.

What are your tips?

can't really argue against those winners but it won't surprise me if bulldogs run the saints a lot closer than 27 points. should be a good game but unfortunately i'll be at work.

geelong should spank collingwood. even if they played in their tracksuits.

Being a collingwood supporter i have to say pies over geelong

And the sainters to do the doggies

But in saying that i am also happy to see an all Vic final so at the end of the day the flag stays here in Vic

Good luck to the 4 teams still standing

Let the best team go to AFL glory..........

GO PIES

I have trouble remembering a time in the final when 4 teams all had such a realistic shot at getting into and winning the Grand Final.

I would like a Dogs v Cats final because then this Cats fan would be confident of coming away with silverware...

BUT

I think it will be a Saint v Cats Final and its to close to call....could be dependant on injuries sustained (and potential reports) from this weekend.

I am happy for any team to win the GF except St Kilda.
It's a personal thing...

I dont care who wins aslong as its not Collingwood. After the Pies/Bombers game earlier in the year a heap of their supporting were chanting around Joffa like some sort of cult and one of the ferals fired up and said they were definitely going to win the flag. I dont want him to be right.

The Saints may win tonight but their 1st quarter performance looked like a reserve team practicing. All credit to the doggies for the pressure but it was not pretty.

I reckon the doggies may have grounds for an appeal on that game. The last goal was touched as it was kicked and there was an earlier goal to the dogs that wasn't paid even though it looked like it was over the line.

Wouldn't be happy if I were a doggies supporter.

Go you mighty sainters!! It was a very tight match, the bulldogs played great in the 1st quater, a real credit to keeps the saints goal less.

TBH, if the saints play like they did next week, they will get smashed by collingwood/cats. But they have a full week to get thier **** into gear.

.

Havnt heard that anywhere and i was listening to alot of Bulldogs fans on SEN after the game.

I think if I were a Doggies fan Id be more upset that my players kick points instead of goals. Cost them last year in the prelim this years first final and tonight. Will never win a flag with miss kicking for goal

I am a Cats man, but Collingwood make me nervous.
They seem to play us very well. We cannot beat Collingwood by much if we do win...

I was at the Prelim 2 years ago, and it was the most intense match I have ever been to. A Collingwood supporter friend of mine said that 'you'll thrash us', but it was hardly the case.

Yeah...I think the Pies are a good chance.

Go Cats.

Hard to tell with that one with the camera angle they had. The padding for the goal posts were in the way.
I reckon the goal ump made the right decision, he was in the right spot. Don't forget, the ball has to completely cross the line before being touched.

I was at the game last night and as a Dogs supporter i think we got ripped a few times. Anyway going by the whole season the Saints do deserve to be there. Will be interesting next week.

I can't believe that, as an Essendon supporter, that I'm going to agree with a bloody woods fan. What a joke the standard of umpiring is.

Oh and that dive by Ablett was a dogs act and one of the most p!ss weak things I have seen in a long time.

Unless those 11 are backed up with more than 11 goals.
