I'll find a video with a Barra was put into a VS Commodore (Project NO MANG I think it was called on FULLBOOST)
There was mention of a company that does the CANBUS looms to allow it all the work ... including cluster as well.

EDIT: Episode 1 .... not sure which Episode it was mentioned in though

There was some mention in Episode 10

There's a FB site called Can Barra, you could look there as well.

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.
