Default Calder 17th nov

I went to calber last night and found the new surface extremly slippery most people i spoke with agreed and where around 4 tenths down on the bests
Did anyone else go and have problems?
How long will it take for the surfaced area take to rubber up enough to start to make good times? :

What’s needed is some comp cars to lay down some decent rubber, street tyre rubber makes the start line worse..

Yes a concrete start line would have been the go, higher cost though.
The return road has it been fixed up?
The re-surfaced track 1st 100 meters where it meets the old part of the track is it smooth?

Is the startline in the same spot as i was told they were going to move it down so the finishline was going to be level with the timing boards?

Looks like there are only a select few (mainly Heathcote) that actually want drag racing in the sothern states. AIR's out of action and Calder continually has issues :

there was only 2 or 3 cars that where 11s or below so there wasn't much good rubber been layed
i have alot of trouble with my 60fts they where 3tenths up on my best
seen plenty of cars spinning the whole track so i guess it was slippery all over
