yes it's nice, as are all GT's, but not EB is worth $35k.

it is plausible that it will be worth considerably more than that one day.... i think.

edit: although that day may be a long, long time from now.

Nice. Wonder why the C pillar trim is colour coded instead of black?

I think all EB GTs were like that. Notice that it's also got black b-pillars.

Looks to be a very nice car, although I'd prefer a manual version. Looks mint. Considering their were only about 250 built, I can understand why the price is so high.

i really don't think it is as overpriced as you lot are making it out to be. It's a genuine limited edition GT Falcon. Only 250 made. It also helps that it is not just a sticker pack like a certain late model Cobra.

If I had the means of coming up with thirty five large I would buy it.

I've never in my life seen one of these on the flesh, or heard of one in my area, nothing, but I've seen 2 genuine xy gt's and one that drove past that may have been a genuine aswell. Where did all of the eb gt's go?

as stated already, there's bugger all of them around. 250 spread across the whole country/world, excluding all those written off.

i think they might actually be worth a heap one day...just as much as any 70's GT, why wouldnt it be?? Just as many stock xy xw's produced as there were EB's (don't quote me on that) I bet no one buying a GT back then thought that they would sky rocket in price the way they have...At least now we have some indication that aussie blokes are willing to spend a few $$$ of getting that childhood dream as we have seen with the XY GTHO, what did that go for again $700k+...so i dont see why in 10-15 years why these things wont be just as desirable...but what a clean example...go the E-series..

i doubt they'll ever reach anywhere near the price of XY GT's, there's just something about the older GT's that seems to make them stand out more. I think it has something to do with them being all metal, not plastic fantastic like late 80's+ cars.. Lots of chrome and lots of charisma. Just my opinion anyway.

Whether its worth 35k or not will be under some sort of criticism.

Not too long ago a discussion i was having with a work associate (cutting long story short) where someone was selling a EB GT and was willing to flog it off for 15g to him! From memory i was told she was in good condition as well!!

Regardless of all of that, she looks like a very clean example!

At the end of the day a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

If the highest bidder for this EB GT is $5000 then it's worth $5000, but if someone else is willing to pay $1000000 for it then thats what it's worth.
Obviously going to extremes here with the numbers tho! :P

CRAIGOSMODDEDEF - Let me put it like this, it was more of a slap on the face and putting you in a position of not buying it despite how cheap he was willing to sell it.

''hahaha'', Not a problem champ as i should of explained myself a little bit more better!

What i was trying to say was this particular owner who owned this EB GT had also in possession a genuine X Series GT of sort as well.

The owner stated that the EB GT wasn't no where as good (performance wise) as his old falcon gt and was willing to ''dispose'' of it (if i can use that word) for 15k.

The gentlemen who was telling me the story was absolutely gobsmacked as was i !!
