Default Vale: The Big Pav

The Big Pav, Luciano Pavarotti just passed away.

One of the great legends of male opera singing.

No offence to the poor guy, But this isnt a complete shock really is it??? One cant live life as a chronically obese person, with a 25 year old model for a wife, pumping out heir after heir and retiring to a vineyard and not expect some consequences.

Remember what the obescity ad says, "if you have a waist girth of over 100cm, you are a fat bastard."

Yeah, it isn't surprising. 2 weeks ago when he was reportedly ill, I thought he was going to go then. He got through that, but when that kind of thing happens, you know it is impending.

I think it's reality that his time was near, but rather than focus on the fact that he was morbidly obese, remember him for his contribution to opera as well as general culture around the world. I see him as one of the main faces of opera singing around the world.

He died of cancer and was very thin.....
He seemed like a nice guy and didn't want to hurt anyone...

He might have been fat but just remember , he was 72! If most of us make that we'll be lucky. Stats say most of us will be gone before 70 unless were the walking dead , surviving on life lenghtening drugs. :togo:
