Default Quickest Nurburgring time

I know theres a few GT4 threads but i thought id rehash Nurburgring times
Maybe make a little competetion?

Whats your best car for this track?
I quite like the M3 GTR race car
I did a 6:17:604 in it last night...not one crash but i did come off the track once or twice so theres more time to chop down
Has any one done under 6 mins?

5.07.010 in the Nissan GT something 92 thingy (or possibly the Minolta Toyota thingy, I can't remember) - I just remember I was drunk, and it was nowhere near as intense as it was sober

(See kiddies? Drink driving infact improves your driving skill!)

The Sauber C9 is an awesome machine.
I have been meaning to have a go with the Pescarola C90 Playstation race car (I can manage to keep the Sauber at bay on the Le Mans track (can't remember the name of it)

Le Sarthe or whatever its called? Thats a great track. Requires as much precision, if not more, than the Nurbergring if you want to get the most from it IMOH.

I don't have a Pescarola, looks interesting though!

The C9 is great. I did that time w/out traction control or anything too of course. Should try and better the time, I'm sure it can do better! But its a bit scary...

Biomechanics time of 5:07 is pretty frigging awesome!

5h1t yeah ... gonna take me a long time ... or a decent vehicle to get close to that. Hee hee.

I wish i had more time to play it.

Circuit De Sarthe .... I remember now ... yeah you need to know your braking points perfectly ... especially when pushing 430km/h.

I double checked my time last night, thought I'd try it again with the Minolta Toyota without traction control (didn't last long - was too sober), and realised it was actually a 5.06.315 using the R92CP Race Car

Read the thread and got inspired.

6.08 in the toyota GT one (I believe I can in under 6.00 with more tuning and practice)
7.29 in a worked FPV GT (Lots more to gain there....ate sand once or twice)
6.59 in a worked FPV F6 Typhoon (Still more to gain here as well with this seriously quick car)

I am stunned at these low 5 minute times....I drove hard and clean and got a 6.08 in the GT One....I can't see how there was a minute to be gained in the run.

If anyone can help me get past the Chamoix bit of the special license I'd appreciate it.

IDEA - We should set up a little competition.

Posting best times in 'arcade mode' around Nurburgring in a selection of cars. Fords of course but some others as well.

Was a 4'58 or so i thought? Too lazy to check.

I was too lazy to send in my times. Although they got over 4000 responses, I'm sure I was'nt the only one...
