Default RIP Dean Jones

Very sad to hear of Dean's passing at age 59 in India from major heart attack.

Was a massive fan of his - thoughts are with his family, and also Brett Lee who tried to revive him.

Legend. Loved how he would bat outside his crease or walk down the pitch and slog. Or how fast he could run between the wicket and steal a run.

And there was no quick single when you hit it anywhere near him in the covers.

A hell of a shock!
Used to love watching him bat in particular.
RIP.

yep, agreed about loving how he played.
Brought excitement to you each time he walked out to the crease.
Too damn young.
RIP mate thanks for the memories.

He was a great cricketer, he had a real flair about him. He liked to rattle the establishment, which didn't do his career any favours, but he was his own man

Very sad news, a great cricketer and fantastic batsman, one of the greatest one dayers who was instrumental in revolutionizing limited overs cricket.
