Default 1983 ford telstar rpm

G'day,

I think my telstar is running on the wrong rpm. When warm it is about 500rpm, Do I need to increase this.

Generally 800 is a good idle RPM.

for a manual the rpm 800-850 for an auto 900-950 rpm

the idle speed adjustment screw is a bit hard to find
its near the return spring of the carbys fuel pump lever a flat screwdriver or a philips can be used .... screw in or out to increase or decrease rpm
