Question Ed xr8 springs

Hi all,just after some useful info,i have an ebII 6 cylinder and have been given some ed xr8 front springs(factory) does anyone know what they would be like if i put them in the eb compared to the standard eb factory springs(bumpy ride or more comfortable ride etc),cheers for any feedback.

Usually V8 springs are a little stiffer than the 6 cylinder ones, due to the heavier weight of the V8 engine over the front end which needs to be compensated for.

Not that a Windsor is that much heavier than a 6 though.

And being from an XR the springs will be stiffer than standard, so ride will be firmer.
