Default Bosch Aerotwins

Also did this cheap upgrade over the weekend. This is very popular mod in the UK

Bosch Aerotwin wipers now available at Supercheap. About $43.00 for the pair. Replaces the entire wiper arm (which were also Bosch as OEM). Looks much simpler and cleaner, runs more quietly, and seems to fit firmer against the windscreen

.......good old www.european-parts.net.

I'm not sure of the code for the Bosch Aerotwins, but you need the 22" and the 19"...and they mention Focus on the back of the pack!!!

They are so much better than the regular type. I'm glad the LS has this stock.

Thats a nice looking wiper

goto a Peugot shop and get a 206 rear wiper arm, looks a lot cleaner then the focus one and fits right on

They look similar but I couldnt remove them from the packaging without purchasing them. I'm not sure if they will fit. The packaging specified LR Focus....

The passenger side on my LS needs replacing so if they fit AND are cheaper than Ford I'll get a set.

For the LS I got a quote for wiper blades for around $25 a pair. On the LS the blades are removable by lifting the arm and rotating the blade upside down and they slide out.

With a bit of care the rubbers are removable, carefully remove one of the plastic covers at one end, A small flat blade screwdriver down the rubber slot and push on the tab holding the end cap on. At one end the rubber is held in place by a tab squashing on the rubber. now different coloured rubbers can be put in.
Bit of useless info for you

Just done the mod today and it wipes so much smoother across the screen. Just need it to rain(which is most likely tomorrow) for the real test.

Measure the size of your wipers blades and get the same size if they have them in the Aerotwins

Ok.. The Ford version is different slightly. The wiper element can not be removed, I've tried and so has a Ford service dept. Sure you can butcher it out but the replacement wont go in easy and the result is a shuddering sweep.

The aftermarket Aerotwin comes apart eaily so the blades can be replaced as needed. So I would like to put these on rather than the genuines.

I told you I was cheap...
