I'm making sort of like a dual pod kinda setup. i have a T shaped piece of hosing and am sticking my pod onto one end and an old foam sock like on the old school pods onto the other side... and then making the whole corner where the filter goes into one big box.

here's a few picks of mine:

i got that from A1 Exhausts Caboolture in QLD, OED 666 put me onto it as he has one and has all the info about them, so just ask him and he should be able to give you the phone number and all other info.

and that is my little invention!

well i had mine on there for at least 6moths of melbourne weather, and well my car was fine, they acctually make water injection kit for car's, and as for the the legalitys, it is quite legal to cut a hole there providing you get it engineered as all modifications needs to be!

i cant remember where iv seen it but a car just had a pod shoved over the intake body in a EB or ED log manifold and it would have great flow from the fan and cool air as the radiator is there and that gets lots of air

hmm nop that side is covered by the fan shroud, and gets very little air flow and it will be hot air coming from the radiator.also a longer intake allows more tourque to be produced the reason why the made the BBM and the EB Gt's have that banana looking tube sticking out of the intake pipe.

sorry i don't mean to be shutting everyone down! just letting you know some info.

i didn't cut through the chassis, the chassis is a step down closer to the engine. the hole i cut can be engineered, however it isn't but i did findout if it is leagal vis a local vicroads aproved engineer.

this is what mine and Ebmanul's one looks like under the bar, mine has been on for around a yeh and it's fine in the wet weather, plus i use a k&n re-charge kit on it once a month so it stays healthy.

Hey, um with the podfilter, how is it beinfical if you have it in a box, rather than just leave it stock? if you were to put a 3" hole in the car n have it underneath i could understand, but what other ways are there of doing it?
