Default Ecoboost water pump leak

At the 85000km service a slight weep from the water pump was noticed. I have decided to have it replaced to alleviate future failure which could cause bigger problems. My question is: has anyone else had a similar problem.

Cobrin reported finding at his timing belt service that the water pump was in the initial stages of leaking, but that was with the TDCi (Duratorq) motor...
